Charity's Wedding Weekend

That's right, my BABY sister got married this past weekend. It was crazy, it was insane, it was a bit stressful and it was purely beautiful. I am so happy for her! What a great weekend we had. Here is a picture of all the siblings. I love it, and in case you aren't super familiar with my family, this is in birth order. Growing up I never thought Charity would get married before me but as we all know, life is full of these kind of surprises. She's only 8 years younger than me. Then this is the whole family! Brothers, Sisters, Parents, Wives, Husbands, all the kids, and lets not forget my papaw and his wife. If I might say so, we have a pretty good looking family. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful/handsome. The worst part of the whole weekend was that it was like 10000 degree's outside. It was so hot. And the shirts that Charity had us wear did not breath. And with my hair down, I thought few times I might die.
When at the temple I was able to go into the bridal room with Charity. Me and Beck were in there with her for a while by ourselves and it was awesome. Then it got even better when Renee, Amy, and Kara joined us. This was all the women in my family besides my mom. It was such sweet sister time. I was so grateful at that moment that these were the women I would be spending eternity with. They are strong women who choose the right. I'm so lucky to have my sisters as my sisters and my brothers could not have chosen better wives and I gladly count these two women among my best friends. I truly consider them sisters too.
Charity went through the temple Thursday night. It was awesome to sit in the temple with all my family except James and Kara. James had a lab that night that he had to do and Kara's recommend needed to be updated. We missed them but we have eternity all sealed together so it's all good. Friday night we had a cook out with Rob's family. I guess you could consider it a meet and greet. We had it at a friends house, Mary. We grilled out, swam, just had a great time. Josh came up for the weekend and things went absolutely great. I don't know if it was because my family was so focused on the wedding or what but they really didn't tease THAT much. We had a lot of fun. That night all the boys went to see GI Joe. By the time they got back I was asleep. I actually might have been almost asleep before they left.
Saturday morning came, we got up, got dressed, then Beck and I went and picked Josh up from where he was staying, went to the mall, ate, then headed to the temple. I've already talked about Saturday but it was awesome. Bringing a date to a wedding/reception I got lots of questions.
So funny Sunday story. Josh stayed and went to church with me in Jackson. During Sunday School the teacher at the beginning asked if there were any new people. Josh was getting ready to stand when the teacher said, "Sister Eaton, I'm not sure what you go by any longer but will you introduce you and your husband", I quickly stated that I still went by Sister Eaton, then he said, "oh for how much longer, a week or two", then Josh stood and introduced himself and said he was here visiting for the weekend for my sister's wedding. I should have been embarrassed but really I wasn't. He's not really the freak out type of guy so there was no point in stressing over it. He came over after church, we made dinner, hung out for a while, then he left.

This is Lindz....Glad I heard the details over the phone first...it's so much better when you tell it all in person. I like Josh, and I like that your family likes him. Sis. Hinkley said that the key to a happy life is to have no expectations. Maybe that was the key to ending up in a happy relationship!
