Baptism

Yesterday I was able to attend the baptism of a friend. She was actually Ben's friend first but I was able to get to know her and I absolutely love her. I remember when the missionaries came over to Ben's one night and at the end asked if Ben had a name to give them to be taught. He soon thought of Allison, and she was baptized! How awesome is that? All because one person was able to share the gospel with her.
I was able to speak at her baptism on the gift of the Holy Ghost. I learned a lot while preparing for this. Not anything I really didn't already know but it was great reminder. I was able to feel the Spirit so strong at her baptism. I'm so incredibly grateful to know the truthfulness of our church. It's such a blessing. I hope that I can be more bold, that I can share the gospel in little ways.
I love Allison and the example that she has been to me. I love that she was bold and accepted the gospel. I was able to watch her transformation with the gospel from the beginning and it changed her life. I'm grateful for Ben for sharing the gospel with her because out of it I got a really good friend!
Just wanted to share my thoughts. The picture is from after the baptism. We all went back to her apartment and watched a movie and did pedicures.
