Happy Anniversary

This is a little late but I am doing it......and that counts. Brent and I celebrated our first anniversary on November 24, 2011. Since that was Thanksgiving we actually celebrated a few days early and went to Texas de Brazil. It was so fun going down town and eating at a nice restaurant. Lucky for us we had a buy one get one free coupon!

I am so lucky to be married to this man. I love him so incredibly much. He has got to be the best husband any girl could need or want. This past year has been filled with joy and love. And if the first year is truly the hardest then I say bring on the rest because it seemed quite easy to me. I know they say learning to live with a new person can be difficult but it seemed like second nature to us. I didn't have a hard time adjusting to him and I don't think he had a hard time adjusting to me. We have just been one of those couples that it just has worked.

Now that the first year is over, we've heard people say the second year is harder.......bring it on, because as long as I have Brent then I know it is worth it.

Here are a list of a few things I love about my husband:

1) He has the most gentle nature about him.

2) He truly adores me even though I've gotten real fat!

3) He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate.

4) He works so hard in school and I know all this effort is for us....not himself.

5) I think he's pretty sexy!

6) He does the most ridiculous dance before bed sometimes. It makes me laugh every time.

7) He loves that's what she said jokes as much, no scratch that, even more than I do.

8) He happens to be the best dad in the whole world to this baby.

9) He worries about me and Elijah so much.

10) Because family and church are important to him and I know he wants our family to be eternal!

I can't imagine spending eternity without him. I refuse to! My love for him has grown even more now that Elijah is here. I now feel true happiness on a daily basis and it comes from my family! I love this man, and will for all eternity!

*Note in the picture Brent has on a coat and I have short sleeves on. I had some major hot flashes during this pregnancy. I can only hope they are in my life permanently now.
