Top 10 for 2011

Brent and Sandra's Top 10 for 2011:

10. Brent started seeing patients at the Eye center. He is currently in his 3rd year at Southern College of Optometry.

9. Sandra quit her job at Bell's Elementary School. After becoming pregnant, the commute became a bit too much. Morning sickness on the freeway was not fun.

8. Sandra turned the big 30. She couldn't be happier and knows her 30's are going be the best years yet.

7. Brent had a few days off of school so he decided to take Sandra to Destin, Florida. Lying on the beach was the perfect way to spend a few days.

6. At the last minute, Brent and Sandra decided to drive to New York City and visit Sandra's brother and his family. Then they were really brave and drove back with 2 of the kids. It was only a 17 hour drive.

5. They were called to teach the sunbeams (3 & 4 yr olds) at church. There class was super cute. They especially loved having their niece Elle in class.

4. Brent's sister, Julie, came to visit and to meet the new baby. He loved her being there.

3. Brent's parents came to visit and were able to be here for the ultrasound. Sandra's mom also joined in and they all saw it was a boy. Everyone was excited.

2. Brent and Sandra celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving. They decided to celebrate a day early and went to eat at Texas de Brazil. The first year of marriage was pure bliss. They both feel blessed to have found each other.

1. On November 30, 2011 (2 weeks early) they welcomed a perfect baby boy into their lives. After being in the hospital 3 days Sandra finally had a cesarean section. They named him Elijah Reed. He weighed 8'3 and was 21 inches long. They couldn't be happier having him in their lives.
