For Springbreak I decided to visit Idaho. I know most people would not choose Idaho as a vacation spot but I have lots of family here so I love it. When I booked my ticket I figured I would be hanging out with everyone. This would include 2 brothers and their families and 2 sisters. Things change and so do people's plans. My older brother Michael had to go on a "business" trip to Mexico, Charity was way to busy to hang out with me, Beck works all the time, and James is really busy too. He has made time to see me everyday. I've mostly been hanging out with Michael's wife Amy and their kids. I've been able to hang out with Kara and Elle some too.
Today I was able to convince James to take me fly fishing and he was able to talk Kara into coming. I thought and I am sure this is also what Kara thought, that we would park beside the river and then fish. Nope, we hiked forever before we go to the river. We were able to stay about 15 minutes before Elle was bored and needed to leave. So then we had to hike out to the car. I caught a white fish but I guess they are trash fish so James refused to let me take a picture. I was told it was for my own good so I am not made fun of. I wore Michaels waders which was interesting. Trying to walk in his shoes was really hard. I wear a 9 in women's shoes and he wears a 12/13 in men's. It was hard to walk in for sure. Then ofcourse Elle and Seth had to be carried. I enjoy exercising but this was more difficult.
I had a lot of fun fly fishing even if is was only for a moment. I love hanging out with my family. It is probably one of my favorite activities.

Very fun! I love how your brothers are still "country boys". I think camoflauge is your color!
whitefish are the mana of the west. i just didn't want you to take a picture because they are so rare. i'd be jealous that i've never caught one.
