My New Life Plan is:
In 2010 I am going to continue to work in Bells as the Coordinated School Health Director. While I am working I am going to take night classes. I have to retake Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 (I've had the classes but they expire after 7 years and I took them in 1999-2000). I'll get any prereq's out of the way. These may include but are not limited to Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Abnormal Pyschology.
I will then stop working and attend school full time. My job either ends June 2010 or June 2011. Since I will be taking these prereqs at night it is going to take me 3 semesters to get them done. So I won't start PA school until Fall 2011. I have checked into Physician Assistant programs en TN and Utah/Idaho. If I go to PA school I am looking at going to either the University of Utah or Idaho State University. If I do not get accepted into PA school which is very likely because it is very competitive then I will go to nursing school. I would probably just stay in TN for this.
I'm really nervous about not getting into PA school especially since I am taking all the prereqs for it. I don't want these to be a waste of my time or my money. And it could prove to be both.
I would also like to serve a mission so if I don't get accepted into PA school I will serve a mission before I start nursing school. I am pretty confident I would be able to get into a nursing program so it doens't stress me as much.
So basically come fall of 2011 I plan to either be in PA school or be on a mission for my church. Either way I will be happy and will love it. PA school will be hard and intense and expensive but I would then have a great career and could comfortable support myself

Good plan!
Education is always worth it. I'm a fan! I like your plan. I'm curious why you limited your PA program to U. of Utah and Idaho State. Why not Arizona, Colorado, New York? I kinda hope you go on a mission. How cool would that be?!!! I'm excited to see how things work out and what Heavenly Father has in store for you! :)
This sounds great for you! I am excited to see how everything unfolds.
oh and you should come to memphis and take night classes with me:)
Plans are good to make. Good luck.
