Walking with my Feet 10 feet off of Beale

So, This past weekend I had a really good time. I have debated on whether or not I wanted to continue blogging about my life adventures, or non adventures, but why not right. So I'll start with my weekend, sans pictures.
Friday night I went on a date with a really cool guy. On the 18th we hung out with a big group of people, went to dinner and to see Harry Potter. We rode together and while we were out we were talking about how well we got along etc and decided we should go on a date. So this past Friday night I went out with him and we had a lot of fun. He is a super chill guy who I really enjoy being around. Nothing will come of it, he is moving in less than 2 weeks but it was fun non-the-less. It's not like I'm looking for a relationship anyway right now and I'm not saying if I was I would want one with him. But he is fun and it was good to go and have fun.
He actually came and picked me up, opened the car doors, walked me to the door at the end of the night, I liked it. We went downtown to a restaurant called Jillians and ate. Jillians use to have a game room so we thought we were going to play games but it was closed so we tried to go bowling. Then we realized that I didn't wear any socks so we looked up movie times. We were going to try to go to the drive in but it was too late so we chose another theater. We went and saw The Proposal and ate Ben and Jerry's ice cream. It was a lot of fun. Then we went and talked for a while. Fun times.
Saturday night I went down to Oxford with a group of friends. I really enjoy hanging out with these guys. We watched Coraline, I had strongly suggested that they rent it so that I could watch it. Then we played games. These peeps make me laugh and I mean laugh a lot. There was one point during the night that I was sitting in the recliner with Brenna and I was laughing so hard that there were tears rolling down my face. It was lots of fun.
Sunday I was able to see my cute sis Charity. I love this girl a lot. I was planning on going to bed early since I started work Monday but that didn't work. I went to bed by 1am. This was only after I had once again laughed so hard that I cried. So much fun. When Monday morning came along I ended up not going to work. Yea, it's a long story but I actually had the option of working Monday or not and while I really needed to I didn't.
So we decided to head to Memphis. The game plan was to go to the mall, then go to eat, then go to FHE, the walk Beale so Rob and Morgan could see it. Josh met up with us and we did go to the mall, then we went to eat, then we skipped FHE and opted for Beale Street, then we went to the temple to walk around, then we went to Renee's to get Seth and take him back to Jackson with us. Yea, crazy good times. I'm really enjoying life. I love it right now. I really do. It's hard, it's confusing, it can be downright frustrating but at the same time it's beautiful, and fun, it's worth every bad moment. I can't complain because like I've said a hundred times over, my life is exactly what it is suppose to be. And that is all I can ask for.

"Play is a child's work" and I don't plan on ever growing up...so why don't I get a paycheck for playing?
