A quick update

Life has been pretty good lately. I can't complain too much. I had a doctor's appointment today and everything looks good. I am measuring a week early and we are pretty sure he's a big baby. I gained 7 pounds in one month. Sadly I thought I had gained no more than 2. I had been working out and last night dinner made me sick so I figured I would have lost a little from that. Maybe I did, it could have been 10 pounds. I was stressing over my weight but not this month, not this time. I'm trying to care less.
Brent went to Florida for a contact lens conference. I spent those days in Jackson. It's always nice to be at mom and dad's. But I was glad to get back home and for Brent to get back as well.
I love birthdays. They are my favorite holiday. I saw a birthday wreath online and knew I needed to have one for all our kids future birthdays. So here it is. Brent and I are also planning a date to paint a piece so we can make a special birthday plate for our kiddos to use in the future.

I think it turned out pretty cute. Here is an up close picture. It's made from balloons and pipe cleaner.
Then I decided I need a fall door wreath so I made this one. It is simple but I like it. That A was a booger to make. But I think overall it's pretty cute.

I need to go ahead and make my Christmas wreath since it's close and also since I won't have time in December to make it. I'm hoping in December I'll be taking care of a sweet baby. I'm also excited that Brent's sister Julie is coming to visit us in December. She comes in on the 15th! And Elijah will for sure be here by then.....I know because the dr said we could make that happen. And Lindsay and Candice will be home for Christmas too so they will meet the little guy too. It's crazy how close it's getting!

The wreaths turned out so cute. I really love the balloon one. It must have taken a long time to make but it looks terrific. It will be so fun to use at birthday time.
