Can I just say, I love being married! I know it's only been 6 days, but I love my HUSBAND so much. I love coming home after work to our place. I love talking to him at night and waking up beside him in the morning! When asked at work how is married life, I like to say blissful!
It was a crazy week last week! Super crazy. The craziness started on Sunday. All the Eaton kids and thier families were back in TN so we decided to try for a family picture. We got some good ones....except it looks like Becky is the one with Brent instead of me.
Monday was the day I got to meet Brent's family, it was a crazy day. It started off with us wanting to pick Laura up from the airport so I could see her before I had to get the Adamson's. So we picked up Gina from the airport, then Laura and dropped them off at Renee's house. Then we headed to the airport to get his family. I wasn't nervous to meet them, but I was a little bit anxious. Not meeting the inlaws until 2 days before the wedding is interesting. But I did meet them and I loved them. We went to dinner at Huey's and it was a really good time. They found out about some of my quirkiness, I should point out Brent loves my quirkiness, and I got to know them a little better.

Gratitude: A late Thanksgiving Post
This Thanksgiving was awesome. I was married the day before then both families came together for some Thanksgiving goodness prepared by my momma. She's pretty incredible! It was nice having both families there and of course the Mendez family too. Wouldn't be all the family if they weren't there.
I'm sure the things I am grateful for this year are the same as last year with a few additions.
1) I'm grateful I was able to be sealed to Brent for time and all eternity. I'm glad that we both chose to love each other. I'll chose this everyday for the rest of forever. I love that man forever, for always and no matter what.
2) I'm grateful for parents who raised me in the church. They gave me one of the greatest gifts, the gospel of Jesus Christ. They also gave me the opportunity to be sealed to them and my brothers and sisters for time and all eternity.
3) I'm grateful for my brothers and sisters and all thier families! My siblings really are my very best friends. They know how to drive me batty but they also know how to love me unconditionally.
4) I'm grateful to have a job. I don't love driving 2.5 hours everyday. I don't love waking up at 5am. But I am grateful to have an income. That I have a job in this uncertain economy. I don't know how long I will have it but I am thankful for it now.
5)I am grateful for friends. I have been blessed with better friends than most. Some of my friends are truly like family to me! They have been through the ups and the downs of life with me. And I love them for it.
6) I am grateful to my inlaws. I don't know them that well yet, but I am grateful they raised the man I married. I'm grateful for the kindness they have shown to me. I am grateful they came to TN for the sealing and never once complained! They are pretty great people.
7) I am grateful for my testimony. I love the gospel. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have the knowledge of them in my life. I am grateful that I live where I can worship freely.

eXcITeD
It's crazy that this is my last day at work before the sealing. I have next Monday and Tuesday off, which I will obviously be needing. I'm getting married in 5 days. I can hardly believe it! What a great way to spend Thanksgiving break.
Becky flies in tomorrow around 6 and I'm so excited to see her. I love that recently she has started calling more. We talk about the most random things. And I love it. Then around 8:30, Candice flies in. I'm so excited to see her too. And she is bring my dress. I know this may sound silly but the thing, other than being sealed to Brent and being with my friends and family, that I'm most excited about is the dress. I can't wait to wear it. I can't wait to see the dress that I begin my eternity in. I know it will be just perfect because Candice made it. And she is amazingly talented. Then late tomorrow night Mike and his family all fly in. That'll put all the Eaton kids in TN!
No one flies in Sunday but on Monday even more people come in. Lindsay flies in, though she comes into Nashville so I won't get to see her. Laura flies in at 1:30. I do plan on getting to see her for a little bit. Then most of the Adamson clan flies in at 3:30 that day. I'll be spending the rest of my day with them since I won't have met them yet. We will do dinner somewhere in Memphis. I definitely want to go somewhere that is a Memphis orginal. I was thinking Huey's, Gus's, Fat Larry's,

Wedding dresses
Since no one has seen my dress, myself included I thought I would share with ya'll some pictures of a few of the dresses that I did like. I orginally thought my favorite was the last one on here but now, my favorite is the second one. The natural waist with the flower to the side. Trying on wedding dresses was quite fun. I can't wait to see mine....on me. I'm getting MARRIED!

One Week
In one week I will be getting ready to go to the temple to marry Brent LeGrand Adamson. I will be sealed to the perfect man for me on November 24th! Wow, my whole life I have waited to get married and the time is just about here. And I am so gratefully for a loving Heavenly Father that prepared this man for me and me for him. That He didn't give me my way all those times in the past when I just knew that so and so and me should be together. That He made me be patient. I'm so appreciatitive for Brent in my life. I was reading past blogs last night and read some that talked about Brent as my future boyfriend. That is so funny. He isn't the first person I've said that about but it's still pretty funny.
When we first said I love you on August 7th. I was a little skeptical. Could I love him even after such a short period of time. But I did. And I love him even more now. And I'm sure in 50 years I'll look back and say the same thing. This is the man I want to grow old with. This is the man that has taught me to love another so unconditionally, so freely. I have no need to worry if he will hurt me or if it won't work because I know he loves me the same unconditional way. And we are not under any "love haze" thinking that we won't have disagreements. We already have them. But we do know how to communicate with the other person. We have so much to learn but I can't wait to learn it with him.
I love him. I love him because he always remains calm, even when I try to push him. I love him because he makes me want to be happy. I don't believe others can make you happy but I am happy with him. I love him because he gives me a stronger desire to make it the Celestial Kingdom, there is no way I want to spend eternity without him. I love him because most of the time he lets me have it my way....not always, but most of the time. I love him because he hangs out with my nieces and nephews with me and watches Beauty and the Beast instead of doing the gazillion other things he might rather be doing. I love him because he knows how important my family is to me and he is patient with them and me. I love him because he makes me laugh. I hate that others don't get to share in our humor. We laugh all the time. He's just so quiet when others are around. I believe he is becoming more comfortable around my family so maybe they will get to experience his humor soon. I love him because he puts me first in his life. I love him for loving me even when I am being the most irrational person in the world. I love him because when I am crying he doesn't really say anything, he is just there, with his arm around me. I love him because he calms my fears. With life and all it's uncertainties and me being a worry, he soothes me. I love him because he is bettering himself so that he can take care of me and our future kids. And I so look forward to having these little tykes around (but not anytime soon :)).
I could keep going. But I won't. Because it even makes me gag a little but it's true! I love him!
