I know you are our first and we're learning to be parents. There are days we are better at it than others. But we try everyday. Son, we should go ahead and make a deal, I'll be patient with you and you be patient with me.
I will promise you a few things right now that you can hold me to for eternity. I will always love your daddy and we will always love you. We will take care of you and help you reach your fullest potential. We will provide you with all your needs. I will hold you when you are sad, kiss every booboo that you deem needs it, I will kiss you everyday (until you tell me I must stop, then I'll still do it), I will take care of you! And on those days that life is hard I'll help you remember how blessed we are to be an eternal family.
Your father and I both feel incredibly blessed that you were sent to our family. We love holding you tight, kissing you excessively and knowing heavenly Father let us have you.
I know I've said this before and I'll say it again, you made me a mother and I'll always always always love you. And dont forget, you're my favorite first born......dont tell the others, they'll get jealous.
