Boys, boys, and boys

Well, I know my problems aren't that as bad as most people's but I still feel the need to talk about them. So bare with me, I am grateful for the things I have but need to vent every once in a while.
Boys are a whole different species. How are we suppose to understand them! One minute your on the phone with them the next minute they don't talk to you any more. Then you are friends then you are not. Some are assuming I am referring to only one guy but this is 2 that I am referring to.
There is this one guy I was/am possibly interested in but he just isn't feeling it. I guess he's not at a good place in his life, he's too stressed. All this was relayed to me. Okay fine. But I thought we could be friends. I sent him a text tonight and he never responded to it. So whatever. That's one down.
The other guy I am referring to is someone I'm not interested in dating. But he is fun at times. Sometimes we are friends and sometimes we are not.
I am looking forward to getting done with this dating stage of my life. It usually just makes you feel unsecure about things! I know, I know, marriage is a whole different hard so please don't leave me comments telling me I should enjoy being single or that I should take every advantage of it. I don't need it. I just needed to say how bad it sucks sometimes. Life doesn't always give you what you want and it teaches you lessons you don't want to learn but I'm trying. And I'm trying to be happy with it.

Random acts of kindness

I am guessing most of you go through life and don't realize what a profound impact you have had on me. Today, I was able to witness something that I think is quite wonderful. I am still in Florida and Lindz had to pick someone up for church. I rode with her and things were good. After taking the lady home Lindsay got out of her car and gave this lady a hug. I saw her hug several people during the day. She may not have known but I was watching and could see how this brightened peoples days. Just seeing her loving all people regardless of their circumstance made me reflect on if I am loving people the way that I need.
I have witnessed similar experiences with each of you. I have seen acts of love that have touched my life. I am blessed with such wonderful examples in my life. I have great friends and a great family. They all love and support me in my life regardless. Amy, my sister-in-law, probably doesn't realize that when she sends me an email or leaves me a comment how great it makes me feel. I love her so much. Each of my sisters have sat and listened to me cry when I have nothing to cry about. Candice entertains me with her stories and always makes me feel really important around her. Nina, tells me like it is and is tries to help me see all perspectives on things. I could name so many things that people have taught me.
Heavenly Father knows us all perfectly and He knew to put each of you in my life. I am so blessed with this. I have friends that I have had since I was a little girl, how many people can say that. I'm so blessed in so many aspects of my life. I am grateful to all you for the examples you have been in my life. Those small things that you may think no one notices are almost always noticed by someone. I am still learning and trying but I am glad to have you all to help.
Anyways, I just couldn't sleep and this was on my mind. I should try since it is 3am.

Florida so far

Well, it has been so much fun hanging out with Lindsay. I'm glad to have life long friends (Candice you should have come too). We have stayed pretty busy so far. I thought I would add some pictures for you viewing pleasure.

At ClearWater Beach. When we first arrived it was all stormy so we waited it out in the car. When the storm passed we got out and went to lay out and eat our lunch. I was eating my Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich when an evil bird swooped down and stole it from me. They later stole a carrot from Lindsay (which they didn't really want because they dropped it. Lindz thinks they orginally thought it was a cheeto. I agree) then they stole her string cheese. They were evil little buggers.

This is us at the Animal Kingdom. The ride in the background is so much fun. I loved it. Animal Kingdom is pretty fun and Lindz was a great tour guide.

I'll write about it at another time. I have lots of pictures on my camera as well but unfortunately forgot the cord ot download them to the computer. Oh well.

Dating is a game of Validation

I was chatting with Lindz while at Epcot and I was talking about how dating is all about validation. How so, some may ask. I have been thinking about this for a while. Even if you don't know if you like a person or not you still want them to ask you out. Then when they do ask you out and you still don't know if you like them or not you still want them to call. I wonder if I was fun and interesting or if I was lame. This one phone call and answer this. It probably shouldn't matter but it does to me. What do you all think? Should you worry about this or is it just me being silly?

Life is good!

Well I arrived in Florida today and it has already been a good time. I sometimes forget how fun it is to be with my old friends. Lindsay picked me up from the airport and we went to dinner at Downtown Disney at a sandwich place. They were super good sandwiches. Then we walked around for a while and I got a cool picture with a lego family. I will be posting this very soon! I would do it now but it is on Lindsay's camera. Then we headed back to her house. It is so fun to see her house. We had some fun talk and Scott joined in and allowed us to listen to some of his great polka music. He's a lot more fun than I remember him being. It may be because he is in his own element, at home. Tomorrow we are headed to the beach then Lindsay set it up where I am going to the a Red Soxs game with some of the singles down here. I am really excited. I know this trip is going to go by too quickly. I'll keep things posted.
